Why do Aussie’s visit Cairns & TNQ in Autumn?

March 18th, 2018

Cairns is a great place to visit for a holiday any time of the year – over 1,800,000 Aussie visitors think so. That’s how many of you came to the tropics for a holiday in 2017*.

And autumn is especially perfect. Whilst we in the Tropics don’t really have an autumn, or a winter for that matter, we do leave behind the hot sticky, summer wet season as we head into April and all the way through to June. Mild temperatures make this time of year a perfect time to book your holiday here in Cairns and the Far North.

Leave the cooler temperatures behind you and enjoy the best the tropics of Far North Queensland has to offer.  According to the Australian weather channels the average Autumn temperatures in the tropics are between 21.5°C° and 29°C – perfect!
